Primarily a wedding and family photographer for over two decades, Francy turned to making original art during the pandemic after her photography work was interrupted.

During that difficult time she found immense calm and joy in painting with encaustic. She often uses her travel photos as inspiration or as a base for her encaustic pieces, blending her past and present artistic practices.
